Photocopier Technician

Job Title: Photocopier Technician / Service Engineer

General Summary:

You’re role will be to handle technical service, installations and maintenance contracts for our systems and products.

Core Functions:

• Handle routine maintenance visits, installations and service calls for equipment repairs and breakdowns.
• Minimize downtime for the customer’s equipment.
• Gain clients trust by providing quality service and offering short response times.
  
  

Details of Functions:

• Provide quality service to new and existing accounts by: planning daily travel schedule, investigating complaints, resolving breakdowns, replacing necessary parts, completing product installations, performing regular service and preventive maintenance.
• Minimize equipment downtime by: providing a quick response time, effectively handling the calls for repairs / breakdowns and not having any repeat calls. 
• Stay up to date with technical know how and attend all technical training courses.
  
  

Reporting:

You will be reporting to the Team Leader / Service Manager.

Qualifications:

The Ideal candidate must possess at least 2 years experience in servicing photocopiers, printers, plotters or MFP’s 

You will be required to:

• Have a bachelors degree in electronics from a reputed university and have a solid I.T. background.
• Be able to quickly and effectively resolve equipment breakdowns.
• Have good problem solving skills.
• Know how to configure our products on the client’s network for printing and scanning. 
• Enjoy working both independently and within a team environment.
• Possess good verbal and written communication skills.
  
  

Preference will be given to candidates having:

• Valid U.A.E. driver’s license and their own car.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in Arabic.
