What is an RF Laser ?

An RF Laser (Radio Frequency Laser) is a metal laser tube that uses radio frequencies to excite the gas which generates the laser beam. This technology offers rapid, precise laser pulses which translates into high quality engraving & marking as well as a clean finish on objects cut with the laser. Additionally RF Laser tubes have a service life of 10,000 plus hours. In comparison, the bulb / glass type laser tube uses a DC current to excite the gas and needs a chiller, coolant and only has a service life of 2,000 plus hours
